One pledge can feel small. Thousands of them across clubs, schools, workplaces and races add up to something big. Here's what that looks like, and how we count it.
Because saving the planet is a team sport.
A reusable cup won't fix climate change on its own. We know that.
But one person rubs off on a mate, a few mates shift a team, and a whole club can stack up thousands of actions. That's where it gets big.

We're not after perfect environmentalists. Just the next action you can take, tracked, and then the one after that.

Climate action can feel lonely. It feels very different when your teammates are in it too. Missions, check-ins, photos and leaderboards make it social.

We run, ride, swim and play through the places we want to protect. Linking action to sport makes it about the parks, trails and beaches you already love.

Pick a pledge and how often you'll do it.
Check in and snap a photo as you go.

Where we can measure it, we estimate the CO₂e or waste saved, using published sources.

Your actions join everyone else's in the collective counter.
Impact data should help people understand what changed, not simply produce the biggest possible number.
We count participation, action and movement separately, then show them side by side.
We use several measures to understand how people are taking part.
Carbon dioxide equivalent. It puts the greenhouse gases an action avoids into one comparable number, shown in kilograms each year.
The number of pieces kept out of landfill each year, by avoiding, reusing, repairing, donating or diverting them.
Actions that push for wider change rather than cutting your own footprint, such as writing to your MP, moving your money or organising an event. Each one counts as one action.
Where possible, each environmental pledge is assigned an estimated CO₂e or waste value, or counted as an action driving systems change.
The calculation considers:
Only counts once you've checked in. A planning pledge counts as participation, with no CO₂e until the action actually happens.
What could happen if you keep it up for your full timeframe. Always labelled separately, and never counted as done.
Cars and skips make big numbers easier to picture. We always show the real unit first.
Pledge tracks environmental action and movement alongside one another because both demonstrate what happens when individuals contribute to a team.
Every pledge maps to one or more UN Sustainable Development Goals, so you can see how a small action links to global priorities. You'll find it on each pledge page.

Every program has its own crew, actions and results. See what happened and who showed up.
Counters show what happened. Stories show how it started. Meet the Pledgends, clubs, schools and partners behind the numbers.
Every collective result starts with someone choosing to take part.
Make a pledge, join a Mission or start your own. Then watch it count.
