What am I doing...
Last year I did my first ever Pledge for the Planet. I pledged to use my water bottle and keep cup wherever I could. Guess what... The routine has been set and these days I carry them around with me everywhere. They are 100% my comfort items and I feel shit when I don't have them with me (within reason obviously).
This year I'm taking on a bit of a different challenge.
WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
I'm running the Berlin Marathon on the 24th of September, 2023 because I can.
I also love water, especially clean water. I used to get these horrible migraines as a kid and this doctor said it is because I didn't drink enough water so now I always do my best to stay incredibly hydrated and that is always done with incredibly clean water.
